FB Antiques has dated this Burr Walnut Dining Suite to the 1920s.
The richly decorated frieze is supported by impressive foliate-carved cabriole legs, giving the table considerable presence and character.

The suite comprises six matching side chairs and two matching carver chairs, all featuring elegant shaped and carved backs with attractive scrolling details. Each chair has a removable drop-in upholstered seat. The upholstery is in very good clean condition, with no obvious marks or staining.

The walnut has developed a beautiful warm honey-brown colour and natural aged patina, with the highly figured burr walnut particularly attractive across the table top.
The suite is generally in very good condition for its age, with the normal minor signs of age and use expected of antique furniture.

Please note: one of the carver chairs has some bleaching/fading to the walnut on the rear of the back, resulting in a lighter area compared with the other chairs. This has been noted for complete accuracy.

An impressive and substantial dining suite with excellent decorative appeal, ideal for a period property, country house or traditional dining room.
