Antique 18th century Georgian writing table in mahogany, a beautifully understated period piece with elegant proportions and timeless appeal.

Standing on four slender tapered legs, the table has a light and graceful appearance typical of Georgian design.

A single large drawer to the front provides useful storage for stationery and everyday essentials, finished with decorative brass handles that sit beautifully against the rich mahogany.

The top is enhanced by delicate crossbanding, introducing a refined decorative detail that beautifully frames the writing surface.

The mahogany displays a gorgeous natural grain and deep, warm colour throughout, giving the table a wonderful sense of age and character.

In good condition, well made and of good quality, this desirable writing table has a refined simplicity that makes it especially appealing.
