A charming beech folding table, believed to date from the early 20th century, with a rectangular top, softly rounded corners and a practical folding X-frame base. Its compact, portable design is reminiscent of campaign and travelling furniture. The beech has a warm colour and attractive grain, with traces of age and use adding character. It makes a useful drinks or occasional table beside a sofa or armchair and folds flat for convenient storage.
