Description

An early 19th century mahogany card table, the beautifully figured top folding open to a green baize playing surface, supported on the original smoothly operating concertina mechanism including a sliding locking bar with integrated card tray, all raised on square chamfered legs.

Serving naturally as a conveniently narrow, understated side table in a hallway or living space, while the fold-over top offers a practical full-sized surface for cards or entertaining when required.

Very good antique condition with some light surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
