Description

A fine Victorian mahogany partner’s writing table of elegant and practical design. The table is fitted with four mahogany-lined working drawers, each retaining its original turned mahogany knob handles.

The table stands upon beautifully turned and faceted legs, raised on original brass casters, allowing it to be moved with ease. The top is fitted with a quality green leather writing surface, which is a replacement, finished with hand-applied gilt tooling and blind tooling.

Presented in good condition, this handsome Victorian writing table displays the rich colour and attractive grain associated with fine mahogany, making it an excellent choice for both a traditional study and a sophisticated home office.
