Pair of tall, narrow decorative panels in dark-stained moulded wooden frames, each painted in the neoclassical taste on a warm golden ground. The complementary compositions feature flowering scrollwork, trailing foliage, lion-headed architectural supports and pastoral roundels depicting long-legged birds. Suspended musical instruments—a lyre and hunting horn—appear beneath blue-green banners bearing the initial “N” within laurel wreaths, lending the pair a distinctive Napoleonic character. Delicate pink and blue flowers, ribbon details and symmetrical arabesques complete the designs.
