TallBoy Interiors has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The Rosewood has incredible figuring and the fact is it solid timber throughout is a rare thing indeed. The barley twist stretcher and the thick legs are all rosewood. There are elements of brass details all over the desk with minor losses but these are the only faults the piece has.
Three drawers that all run smoothly and lock with a later key. The desk is all one piece.
