Victorian Sterling Silver Lorgnettes Magnifying Glasses C1850 Antique

Description

Rare English early Victorian antique solid sterling silver and faux tortoiseshell folding magnifying glasses / lorgnettes. They are unmarked but test as high grade silver. I would date it to c1840-1850. They have been superbly designed and are in super condition being free from dings chips holes and repairs. They magnify well. They measure approx. 6.5 inches long fully unfolded and weighs 27 grams. Very nice quality items.
