A Victorian turned mahogany Policeman''s truncheon with original gilt sign written decoration c.1870. The turned solid mahogany truncheon with shaped and ribbed handle to aid grip, and slightly tapering shaft with rounded end sat above. Original handwritten sign in black and gilt stating V.R division with the officer number set in a cartouche below. Presented in excellent original unrestored condition with a rich colour and patina. For clocks and barometers bought from us, we also offer a setting up service by our trained personnel (local deliveries only).
Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Deliver...y, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.
Packing and postage charges for mainland UK are shown for most items on this website. Where an item is large or requires specialist delivery, please contact us with your postcode for a specific door-to-door delivery quote.
