Salisbury Antiques Centre has dated this Victorian Mahogany Washstand to the 1860s.
The base is united by a decorative shaped X-form stretcher.

Originally constructed as a washstand, the piece has been sympathetically converted by the removal of the original superstructure, creating an attractive and practical lamp, side or bedside table. The drawer retains its original hand-cut dovetail construction, and the table displays a warm, well-figured mahogany patina with good colour throughout.
A versatile Victorian occasional table, equally suited to a traditional or contemporary interior.
