A Georgian treen apple corer is an 18th or early 19th-century hand-crafted kitchen implement designed to remove the central core from apples, made primarily from wood and natural materials such as bone.

These items were typically constructed using dense hardwoods such as mahogany, fruitwood, or boxwood for the handle, joined with carved bone or horn to form the scoop.

Authentic pieces exhibit signs of manual carving, hand-set metal pins or rivets connecting the materials, smooth natural wear from historical handling, and smooth interior patination within the scoop.

Small treen items are frequently styled within glass display domes, shadow boxes, or curated alongside historic kitchenalia on open kitchen shelving and bookcases.

Keep the object dry, avoid full immersion in water, clean gently with a soft dry cloth, and apply a light coat of natural beeswax polish to the timber components to maintain moisture stability.
