A fine and rare Barr, Flight & Barr Worcester Porcelain Jardinière c.1805. Of flared shape, with two fixed gilt ring handles, on a round, fixed base, the 'Barr's Orange' ground further gilt with a geometric pattern and Greek key motif and reserving a front panel with a painting of a Kingfisher.  

Incised ‘B’ mark to the base.

Condition: Excellent with no damage or restoration and just a little surface wear

This Georgian Regency jardinière comes from the Worcester porcelain factory of Barr, Flight and Barr circa 1805. The piece has a flared cylindrical shape with two fixed gilt ring handles, a stepped circular base, and a white interior rim. The exterior finish consists of a salmon-pink ground decorated with elaborate gilded geometric patterns, Greek key friezes, and a central shaped reserve containing a hand-painted depiction of a Kingfisher. Gilt detailing highlights the rims, handles, and base edge, while an incised 'B' mark sits on the underside alongside minor surface wear. Measuring 16 cm high by 11.5 cm wide, the vessel suits placement on a mantelpiece, side table, or console within a traditional living room or study.
