An antique birch desk with a worn painted base, scrubbed timber top and soft cream-green distressed finish. The form is light and practical, with a rectangular work surface, raised rear gallery and two frieze drawers fitted with small turned wooden knobs. The paint has rubbed back naturally across the drawer fronts, apron and legs, revealing warm timber beneath.
