Large Rosewood Roulette Wheel, Circa 1900

A fine and unusually large roulette wheel dating from circa 1900, beautifully veneered in striking figured rosewood with decorative diamond markers that divert the ball in different directions having a precision-engineered brass and steel roulette mechanism that spins freely

The nickel plated wheel retains its original numbered red and black track and central spindle, displaying the quality workmanship associated with late Victorian and Edwardian gaming equipment. The deep-toned rosewood exhibits attractive grain over more than a century, giving the piece exceptional decorative presence.

Originally intended for private gaming rooms or club use, this substantial roulette wheel now makes a striking collector's item, conversation piece, or display object for a study, library, games room, or interior with a taste for antique sporting and gaming memorabilia.
