A superb antique Victorian inlaid walnut chess table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880’s period.It is beautifully made predominantly from walnut, the top has an inlaid chessboard made from sycamore and walnut, with fine walnut cross banding on the outer edges. This sits on a beautifully turned base that rests on tripod legs. The quality is amazing, this is a very practical and fun item.
