Description

A great antique treen boxwood urn shaped lemon squeezer, these aren't

 easy to find and were the most expensive lemon squeezer at the time.

The top unscrews revealing a long wood screw with a flat circular disc on the end. This would crush the lemon, allowing the juice to pour through the spout at the bottom. This lemon squeezer has a good colour and patina. 

Similar examples are illustrated on page 170 in Treen for the Table by Levi.
