Early 18th Century Georgian Oak Side Table with Drawer

A fine early 18th century oak side table, constructed in solid oak throughout. The oblong plank top has a semi-rounded edge above a frieze fitted with a full-width drawer, set with period-style twin brass drop handles and a scalloped apron below. The table is raised on well-turned ring supports with block sections on compressed feet, united by plain stretchers. Peg-jointed construction throughout.

A good early Georgian country table with pleasing proportions and an attractive warm patina. Carefully serviced, cleaned and waxed in our workshop, and now very much ready for use.

Condition:

Good condition, commensurate with age. Structurally sound with no loose joints. Minor marks and blemishes consistent with age and use. Handles are later replacements in a period-appropriate style. Warm colour and patina with an excellent wax finish. A handsome early Georgian oak table, ideal as a hall, lamp, or side table, with great character and usability.

Returns

A 30-day return period is offered for peace of mind. Items must be returned in the same condition as supplied. Return transport costs are the responsibility of the buyer, and original delivery charges are non-refundable. Responsibility for the item remains with the buyer until it has been safely received back.
