A finely modelled Meissen Blanc de Chine porcelain figure of Amor with a bow, after a model by Paul Scheurich (1883–1945), produced in Germany circa 1910–1924. This is a compact cabinet-scale antique figure, combining strong sculptural clarity with refined decorative appeal.
 
The figure is shown seated in a slightly turned pose, holding a stylised bow. The anatomy is softly modelled, with smooth transitions and a controlled, calm facial expression. The treatment of the hair and proportions reflects Scheurich’s characteristic approach, where form and balance take precedence over elaborate detailing.
 
The piece is executed in pure white glazed porcelain (Blanc de Chine), where the absence of colour places full emphasis on modelling and surface. This type of production represents Meissen’s early 20th-century shift toward more restrained, sculptural interpretations of traditional Rococo subjects such as putti and Amor figures.
