A 19th-century German pair of blanc-de-chine figures in the KPM-school manner: a young man with pole and baskets and a young woman with grapes, each raised on a rocaille scroll base. Hard-paste porcelain; notably heavy for the height; glossy white glaze; applied vine leaves and bead-grapes; rustic tree-trunk support to the boy. The modelling follows German Rococo pastoral types, here with workshop simplifications typical of the later 19th century.
