STRIKING AND GOOD QUALITY OVAL OCCASIONAL TABLE. OVAL TOP WITH MOULDED EDGE AND A DEEP APRON. RAISED ON A TURNED, FLUTED AND CARVED STEM OF VARIOUS LAYERS, WHICH LINKS TO THE PLATFORM BASE BY A CENTRAL BOLT AND NUT.
SHAPED PLATFORM BASE AND HEAVILY CARVED PAW FEET.
TABLE HAS BEEN COMPLETELY RESTORED, WITH RESTORATIONS TO WOODWORK USING TRADITIONAL METHODS AND RE-POLISHED BY HAND. MINOR SURFACE MARKS AND LOSSES AND MINOR AGE SPLITS TO WOODWORK.
