Andrew Cox Antiques has dated this Palais Royal Sewing Companion to the 1870s.
The companion stands on a alabaster base and is fitted with two removable buckets, one with pin cushion and the other with thimble. The cart holds an open ended barrel and to the inside is a wooden cotton reel. A delightful piece, making for a usable and interesting addition to any sewing collection. Dimensions below.
