Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.

Secure Transit

FAQs

Edwardian furniture often borrowed from historical precedents like Georgian and Sheraton revivals, favouring lighter proportions than the preceding Victorian era while retaining robust craftsmanship.

These tables were constructed primarily from solid hardwoods such as oak, featuring traditional joinery like mortise and tenon, hand-turned legs, and stretcher bases for structural stability.

Authentic pieces exhibit natural timber shrinkage, hand-cut joinery marks, appropriate patination from decades of use, and period-accurate hardware or turning details without modern fasteners.

Pairing a heavy wooden table with minimalist modern seating creates a striking juxtaposition, balancing historical character with clean lines for a layered aesthetic.

Maintain the timber by dusting with a dry microfibre cloth and periodically applying natural beeswax to nourish the wood, avoiding direct sunlight and excessive moisture.
