This early 19th century Regency library table and desk is made from warm brown mahogany with a rich wood grain finish. The rectangular top rests on a frieze decorated with a beaded edge and carved gadrooned details, accompanied by dummy drawers on the front. Two pull-out side slides extend outwards to reveal light blue baize-lined trays on each side. The four legs are reeded and turned, terminating in brass castors with wheels for mobility. The table measures 75 cm high, 119 cm wide, and 101 cm deep when closed, extending to 193 cm wide with the leaves out.
