Salisbury Antiques Centre has dated this Japanese Kutani Porcelain Charger to the 1900s.
The centre is beautifully painted with a dynamic scene of samurai warriors, one mounted on horseback and accompanied by attendants, set within a landscape featuring blossoming trees and distant figures.

The border is decorated with traditional stylised motifs in vibrant colours, framing the central scene and adding to the overall visual impact.
The reverse bears a red Kutani mark, consistent with production from the Meiji era.
A striking and decorative example of late 19th / early 20th century Japanese porcelain, ideal as a statement wall piece or display charger.
