Description

An exceptional George III mahogany serpentine side / serving table; a well drawn table with a fabulous colour and patination; the well figured mahogany serpentine top having sweeping ends above the impressive frieze of three fine inlaid marquetry panels on a field maple background; the central tablet flanked by two substantial figured mahogany concealed drawers being fully oak lined. The rounded corners with finely carved flower head paterae; raised on elegant turned tapering legs having a guilloche collar above well carved stop fluted design. Terminating in toupe feet.
