Its rounded form, short neck and twin loop handles reflect classic household storage jars used for preserving meats, olives, oil and everyday provisions. The deep bottle-green lead glaze displays natural tonal variation, pooling and subtle firing shadows, giving the surface a lively and highly decorative character.

Condition: tiny chip to the footrim; otherwise excellent antique condition.
