This Outstanding early 19th Century Regency Mahogany Antique Sofa Table is of superb quality and in the Gillows design ca. 1830. It has a striking figured top with gadrooned carved edge. This sits above a concealed frieze drawer with key and working lock and is mirrored on the opposite side with faux drawer so can be placed in the centre of a room if desired. This antique sofa table stands on a central octagonal pedestal with quadraform base and elegant scrolled feet. This superb antique table comes with wonderful genuine charm, character and has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of Mahogany wax finishing.
