Beautiful Antique Unusual Wall Hanging Taxidermy Of A Gouldian Finch By Lewis Hutton Bristol 1877.

This beautiful piece of taxidermy includes a gouldian finch stood on a small branch with a painted background and lovely foliage around the bird. The background is also painted with a lovely sky to complete the naturalistic look. It is then mounted in an unusual oval frame with a lovely domed glass.

The background of the piece then has its original makers label for “Lewis Hutton Bristol” and is dated 1877.

- 9” / 23cm Wide.

- 2” / 5cm Deep.
