Early 20th Century Regency Gilt Wood Marble Top Circular Table

Description

This is an elegant early 20th century giltwood circular table with very attractive proportions in superb crisp clean condition.

The handsome table is in carved giltwood with a classic Empire or Regency style having three canted legs with hairy paw feet and lions mask capitals. The frieze is decorated with anthemion palmette details and the circular Carrara marble top is in excellent clean condition.

A very smart and elegant table dating from around 1920.

The table measures 86 cms in height overall with the marble being 63 centimetres in diameter.
