Rams Head Antiques has dated this Staffordshire Pearlware Doe Figure to the 19th Century.
John Walton was a figure potter who potted in the Staffordshire potteries from 1806 to around 1830.

This example has a lovely strength of colour to the paintwork which is remarkably unchipped or rubbed. There is a very minor hairline under the neck of the doe and a small repair to one of the bocage leaves, otherwise this is in really excellent condition.
The piece measures 12 cms high by 10 cms wide by 5 cms deep.
