Georgian Mahogany Folding Butler’s Tray

An attractive folding butler''s table dating from the early 19th Century. The mahogany tray has beautifully shaped sides with four carrying handles and it stands on turned X-frame legs joined by turned stretchers. It is a large and particularly good quality example made from richly coloured timbers with a lovely patina.
 
It is in good original condition and is strong and sturdy. There are some minor signs of age and use, a couple of small knocks and marks and old surface stains in the tray but no major damages or anything detrimental and it displays beautifully. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
