Mahogany cake stand with brass handles and plates by Charles Meigh circa 1891. I have seen many cake stands but for me, the brass handles and tapered legs makes it so elegant. The top plate cannot be taken out without unscrewing the handle, but all the other plates can be taken out from the shelf.
