A fine Victorian mahogany pedestal dining table, dating from around 1850, featuring a beautifully grained oval tilt-top mounted on an elegant turned baluster column supported by tripod cabriole legs with brass castors.

The table’s mechanism allows the top to tilt vertically for easy storage, a typical feature of quality 19th-century craftsmanship.
