Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
They are of excellent quality and have a very useful design.
The brass mounts are very well made and contrast beautifully against the rich mahogany.
We have recently had these re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age. There are just a few minor marks and bumps remaining beneath the polish here and there, adding to the character.
