Antique Uzbek Karakalpak embroidered wedding veil, known as 'kyz kiymeshek'.
19th century.
(See image of an example being worn). The embroidery to the front is in silk chain stich, with silk 'adras' ikat to the back.
The condition is excellent with some signs of use and a few historic repairs.
