The square top twists on its base and opens in the form of an envelope to reveal a green baize card-playing surface, complete with circular divots for holding chips or other game pieces. To one side is a fitted drawer with brass knob handles, decorated with fine inlay. Further inlay detailing enhances the sides and legs, showcasing the quality craftsmanship. The table is raised on four elegant cabriole legs with carved detail, each terminating in castors for ease of movement.
