Very good quality and very decorative English late Regency to William IV rosewood freestanding sofa table or centre table with a deep banding of satinwood, two drawers in the frieze and stands on a tapered pedestal column and shaped platform base, circa 1820.
The contrast of the rich rosewood grain and the satinwood really is stunning and with the shaped leaf supports, you can see that this drop leaf table really does look great when the leaves are lifted, which is not always the case!
The table is identical on both sides, two drawers and dummy drawers to the rear, so you can use this as a freestanding table if required.
Wonderful piece of furniture!
