Priest / 1&2 Tudor Street / BlackfriarsA very fine late 18th-century George III period mahogany partners library writing table. Constructed from solid mahogany, it features a moulded edge. The rectangular top, with rounded moulded corners, showcases a beautifully patinated black tooled leather inset. Beneath are six mahogany-lined drawers, three on each side, all retaining their original mahogany turned knob handles, working locks, and a functioning key. All six drawers are stamped by W.Priest 1&2 Tudor Street Blackfriars. The elegant table is raised on elegant reeded tapering legs legs that terminate in brass caps and original brass castors.
