An Arts and Crafts Ruskin Set Mechanical ‘Stork’ Cigarette Dispenser

1900 - 1920
Description

By Lamont, Evans and Francis circa 1910. Modelled with an articulated stork that opens its beak, dips its head and removes a cigarette. With planished strapwork and central blue green souffle.

On the underside of the box reads:

''Patents applied for in Great Britain,

USA, France, Germany and other principle countries.

Design registered in England No. 539227.

Trademark in Holland No. 24929.
