Elegant Regency Period Chinoiserie Pole Screen

Description

This Antique Chinoiserie Pole Screen is a beautiful piece of furniture in really good original condition dating from the early 19th century (Circa 1820) . The pole is made from solid mahogany with ebony and satinwood inlay to the elegant tripod base. The screen element is in Ebonised wood with beautiful hand painted and gilded chinoiserie designs as well as having the most imposing hand cut shape.

The screen measures 146 cms high 45/wide at the base and 40 in diameter at the black chinoiserie screen.
