This super condition fine quality ewer is predominatly painted with panels depicting scenes of villagers going about their daily routines, the two panels bordered by very fine geometric and floral details particularly the top and bottom bands, the handle and spout are formed as bamboo and are decorated with birds in flight moulded in relief, the lid finely decorated with bands of flora rising to a gilt finial.
