Extremely Rare Regency Petrified Antique Tree Stem Table

A superb, very rare Regency English antique side table that incorporates a wonderful, petrified tree stem as the central part of this antique tilt top table. The fossilised tree stem is in superb condition, all very intact and in the natural finish, this stands on a triform table base with bun feet underneath. The original dodecagon shaped table top is inlaid with various beautiful timbers along with a chess board. A very rare and decorative English early 19th century antique side or games table with a rarely seen wonderful petrified tree stem. The table dates to 1815.
