The fossilised tree stem is in superb condition, all very intact and in the natural finish, this stands on a triform table base with bun feet underneath. The original dodecagon shaped table top is inlaid with various beautiful timbers along with a chess board. A very rare and decorative English early 19th century antique side or games table with a rarely seen wonderful petrified tree stem. The table dates to 1815.
