A great set of 19th century porcelain whist counters in their original tooled leather box. The four tokens depict the four suits on one side. On the other side are Quadruple, simple, triple, & double which I understand are all bidding terms. The tokens are in great shape, no damage. The box is lined in pale blue velvet with depressions for the four tokens in two compartments. Overall the box is in great condition, however, there has been some writing on the top of the box, which is no longer visible.
