Georgian mahogany 3 pillar dining table
This Georgian mahogany 3 pillar dining table was made circa 1800 , the cabinetmaker seleted fine mahognay with good colour and grain.
The Georgian dining table stands on 3 columns, consisting of a tripod base at each end and the central quadruple column at the centre. Each column has swept and moulded legs coming away from the turned mahogany column, with the original brass claw castors with the castors under.
The table has rounded corners, this gives it a softer look but also allows for you to sit guests at the cormers more comfortably.
The table can be used without the extra extension leaves in place.
Placing the extra leaves into place is simple and you just slide in the brass tables forks that hold the table together into place, there are swing out supports under the top that add support.
