This useful antique long arm library book grabber which is made of bamboo has brass fittings, dates from 19th century and is in excellent condition.
This attractive reacher grab tool which has a great look with it''s patterned bamboo is approx 125 cm in length, has a large brass claw at the end and brass lever mechanism which works when pressed.
This Victorian grabber would have been used in a library to reach books on high shelves or in a shop. Today this would make a really useful piece for the home that also looks great on display or ideal for use in a book shop, library, hotel, restaurant or bar.

Weight: approx 500 g.
Condition: Very good used condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Brass has not been polished so has a nice patina. The spring mechanism is in working order.
