Chinese porcelain jar, c. 1650, Shunzhi Period, Transitional. The large jar, hand painted in underglaze blue, with a Kylin in a garden setting. The reverse with a banana plants.

Having an unglazed rim, and an unglazed base, apart from the centre.

Height – 25.5 cm, 10”.

Diameter – 22 cm, 8 5/8”.

Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
