A handsome antique late Victorian burr walnut and inlaid tripod table with petal shaped tilt top and elegantly carved tripod base dating from circa 1880. The magnificent top is in burr walnut and is extensively inlaid with marquetry, the base is well carved and stands on cabriole legs with scroll feet. It has a brass catch which allows the top to be tilted to an upright position.

The top appears to have been restored at some point and it has a few old veneer mends and chips to the edges. The tilt action is a little stiff and appears to have new dowels. The base is solid and sturdy.
