Graham Pickett has dated this piece to the Regency era.

The banded and ebony inlaid table top with its side drop leaves offers a good surface area for lamps etc, so can work as a console table but also originally this sort of table would have been occasionally used to sit at as a desk.

Good condition with some of the usual age related marks, but all under many many years of beeswax polish.

60 1/4 inches or 153 cm wide when the leaves are open
26 3/4 inches or 68 cm deep
38 inches or 96 cm wide when the leaves are closed
