This fine mahogany fire cat or fire side stand dates to c1800 and is a substantial piece. The piece rotates to the centre for use with plates and pans by the fire. With a tripod base and turned wooden arms.

In good condition with slight age related wear. One small crack to of the arms and a slight knock to top finial of the central stem.
