Beautiful example of Welsh dairy scales, unusually in oak. The beam carries a pair of square pans and is supported by a central turned column that is jointed into a crude chamfered base. The base is similar to that found on rushlight holders of the period, and may have been replaced in the distant past.
Wonderful natural surface finish
